Here at House of Batteries, we often suggest using in-store advertisement to promote your range of batteries and increase sales. However, you may be uncertain about how to create an in-store advert that will encourage your customers to buy more batteries. That’s why we’d like to give you some valuable advice on promoting your batteries within your store. As a retailer, it’s important for you to deploy effective adverts if you want to sell your products.

1. Choose an appropriate type of advertising

You should think carefully about the size of your store, because different types of advertising are suited to stores of different sizes. If you run a larger, more spacious store, you need to deploy bigger, more visible forms of advertising to ensure a specific product is noticed. We suggest creating a display area that showcases the uses and USPs of your batteries. In contrast, if you own a smaller store, signs or posters that highlight the benefits of batteries are a better option. They won’t get in the customer's way and they’re just as easy to notice in smaller spaces as displays are in larger ones.

2. Humanise your imagery

The images you use in your adverts should showcase the different forms of technology that batteries can power. However, it’s important for your customers to connect with these images on a personal, emotional level. Simply put, people are more likely to purchase something that they feel they have an emotional connection to. Don’t just show battery-powered devices on your adverts: show ordinary people using those devices. Your customers can relate to the people in your adverts and will therefore be more inclined to purchase batteries from you.

3. Text matters

No advert is complete without text, but it’s important to keep it snappy and to the point. We suggest coming up with a slogan that suits your brand but which also conveys the usefulness of batteries in day-to-day life.

We can provide you with all the wholesale batteries you need and if you follow these tips, you’ll have no difficulty creating the in-store adverts you need to sell them. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need more information.
